Families for HoPE, Inc. and the Carter Centers are excited to announce the dates for the 2010 Family Conference on Holoprosencephaly!

HPE families who are willing to participate in the NIH Study on Holoprosencephaly have an opportunity to stay on the NIH campus at the Children's Inn (similar to a Ronald McDonald House). The Children's Inn is available at no cost for families who are willing to complete a questionnaire and/or give blood samples for the genetic study. This is a wonderful opportunity to travel to the conference and have no charge for a room while helping to further the research into Holoprosencephaly.

UPDATE: The Children's Inn has reached capacity for our HPE group.  If you do not have a confirmation for your stay at the Children's Inn, please reserve a room at one of the hotels listed below.

Families not participating in the study or who wish to stay elsewhere are responsible for their own lodging.  Conference rates are available at the following hotels:

Rate of $159 a day plus parking.  The NIH provides a free shuttle service to the campus from this hotel.  Hotel is located at a Metro station.

Registration fee is $50 per family (includes each member of the child's household + 1 additional caregiver).
Additional caregivers or individuals outside of the child's household are $25 each.  Registration fees are nonrefundable.
